Introduction
In search for the sound that makes the music of two great composers, from a distant and more recent past, still live: one, Bach, who has never written for guitar but has always been a living part of the guitar repertoire; the other, Tárrega, a great and secluded master, guitarist and composer, one of the cornerstones of modern guitar literature.
Giacomo Palazzesi, one of today’s most prominent Italian guitarists, through an intimate, pensive and concentrated vision, far from any acrobatic and spectacular approach, gives an interpretation able to bring out the subtlest details of often complex compositional textures without ever losing sight of the breath and the overall arc of the composition, always arousing a deep emotion in the listener.
